Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a deep understanding of both Hong Kong and Mainland China labor laws and regulations related to employment, compensation, benefits, working hours, and other relevant areas. Ensure the company’s practices align with the legal requirements in both regions.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that are compliant with Hong Kong and Mainland China labor laws. Ensure these policies are effectively communicated to employees and provide guidance to managers and staff on their interpretation and application.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection of candidates for various positions.
  • Manage employee relations matters and act as a mediator in resolving conflicts or disputes between employees and management. Provide guidance and support to managers on employee performance and disciplinary actions.
  • Handle tasks as assigned by the Company.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of the labor laws and regulations in both Hong Kong and Mainland China is essential. Familiarity with employment contracts, working hours, leave entitlements, termination procedures, and other relevant areas is required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in human resources management, with a focus on Hong Kong and Mainland China operations.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent attention to detail in interpreting and applying labor laws and regulations. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Proficient in HRIS systems and other HR-related software applications.
