Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily accounting operations of the family office, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and analysis for the family members and other stakeholders
  • Manage and reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial transactions
  • Assist with company and personal tax planning, compliance, and filings for the family office and its entities in Hong Kong or Mainland China
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations in Hong Kong or Mainland China and provide guidance to the family office and its entities
  • Perform company secretarial work for the family office and its entities in Hong Kong or Mainland China, including preparing and filing statutory documents, maintaining the company’s register, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation
  • Provide financial analysis and support to the family members and other stakeholders as needed
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by family members

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in accounting or related field, with a focus on tax planning, compliance, and company secretarial work in Hong Kong or Mainland China
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
  • Expertise in tax laws and regulations and company secretarial work in Hong Kong or Mainland China
  • Experience with financial analysis and reporting
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
