You will be working in a newly build Platform Engineering team as a support engineer. Here you will have an opportunity to be a key part of designing and building of our next gen data platform.
Platform Engineering applies Site reliability engineering approach to continuous improve platform operations. With infra and configuration as code, proactive monitoring and alerting, we aim at setting up a guiding example to the organisation on SRE adoption, leading to improvement in service quality and operational efficiency of our technology teams in the organisation.
As a Support Engineer you will play a critical role in operation of our next generation Data and Analytics Platform. You are a problem solver with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. You are keen on latest data and analytics technologies, automation, agile ways of working and SRE concept. You are experienced in Application support within enterprise environment. Experience in financial services would be ideal but not a must.
Key responsibilities include:
– Provide L1/L2 Support
– Liaise with other application supports and internal/external business and technologies partners
– Timely escalation of critical issues and proactively identify patterns of recurring issues to improve production services
– Problem resolution and conduct root cause analysis, revisit process that will help incident prevention
